The Mets bullpen blew another lead on Sunday in Chicago when they gave up three runs in the 8th inning to the Cubs. The three runs cost them the game and wasted a great start by Jacob deGrom.
Things got heated in the locker room after the game. Manager Mickey Callaway didn’t like something he heard from reporter Tim Healy, who covers the team for Newsday, and tried to him removed from the locker room.
When Healy didn’t leave, pitcher Jason Vargas got involved in a staredown with him and then threatened to knock him out. He started towards the reporter before being held back by fellow pitcher Noah Syndergaard.
Vargas then got into a shouting match with the reporter, over a staredown, and said at one point: "Ill knock you the f*** out, bro."
He charged such reporter and had to held back by Gomez and Syndergaard.

What a group this version of the Mets is. Maybe if they showed that kind of fight on the field they wouldn’t be where they are at the moment.
For the record Vargas isn’t knocking anyone out.
