Not many balls are going to fall in centerfield with Jason Heyward roaming around. He’s tall, he’s fast and on Saturday he used both of those to rob Colin Moran of the Pirates of an extra base hit.
Pitching is so much easier with a guy like Heyward taking care of business in the outfield. Anything he provides on offense is a bonus.
