On Thursday night another blockbuster trade took place in the NBA. The Rockets traded Chris Paul and some draft picks to the Thunder for Russell Westbrook.
The move reunites Westbrook with James Harden and according to reports out of Houston, it was Harden who was the driving force behind the move.
James Harden was a driving force in this deal, I’m told. Russell Westbrook and Harden decides they wanted to reunite and Rockets made it happen despite some questions about fit now that Harden is so ball dominant. Houston believes ceiling is higher with Russ than CP3.

It seems like the rumors of trouble between Harden and Paul were true. The Rockets believe the move will make them better and it’s hard to argue with that.
Westbrook is still in his prime and anytime you can add a former MVP in his prime your team is probably going to be better. The Rockets should be a lot of fun to watch next season.
