Free agent quarterback Jameis Winston is reportedly close to finalizing a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.
Winston will not be guaranteed the backup job and will instead be competing with Taysom Hill to be the No. 2 quarterback behind Drew Brees.
The Saints also drafted a quarterback in the seventh-round when they took Mississippi State’s Tommy Stevens.
