The Phillies had a terrible weekend in San Francisco. They were swept after scoring only one run all weekend. The lone run came on a solo homerun by pitcher Jake Arrieta on Sunday.

After the disastrous weekend an angry Jake Arrieta called out his Phillies teammates. He even went after the team’s shifts and decision making.

The weekend was historic for all the wrong reasons. It was the first time in MLB history a team was swept and scored only one run on a homer from a pitcher.
The Phillies scored 1 run while being swept in a 3-game series by the Giants. It came on a Jake Arrieta HR.
According to @EliasSports, it's the 1st time in MLB history that a team scored only 1 run while being swept, with that run coming courtesy of a HR by a pitcher.
