Former Red Sox DH David Ortiz, who retired after the 2016 season, was in the batting cage over the weekend.  This has of course sparked rumors that the 42-year-old is contemplating a return to baseball.

Ortiz watched the 2018 version of the Red Sox blow through the regular season and the postseason on their way to another World Series ring and it must have gotten him pretty excited.

From the looks of it Ortiz’s hand-eye coordination is still there.  All he needs is couple of cycles and he’ll be back to 2006 Big Papi.
