Former major league manager Butch Hobson, who managed the Boston Red Sox from 1992-94, is now managing the Chicago Dogs of the Independent American Association. The 67 year old has gone viral for his ejection.
Hobson was ejected over the weekend in a game against the Sioux City Explorers for arguing a check swing call. He didn’t leave the field quietly.
Instead he turned the ejection into a walk off home run, that included a high five from the third base coach and a look up to the sky after stepping on the plate.

What a moment. There was a person attending the game that wasn’t thoroughly entertained by this. This kind of ejection might just earn Hobson another shot in the show.
