AD was at a hotel in Malibu watching a movie when Rich Paul called him to tell him he’d been traded to the Lakers. He rejected the call twice so as not to interrupt his movie, and then thought hmmm maybe something is going on. So he checked Instagram. That’s how he heard.

He apparently called Paul but there was no answer.
That’s when the former New Orleans Pelicans star checked Instagram and found out he was in fact dealt to the Lakers.
Davis also said he’d put the Lakers up against any other contending team in a seven-game playoff series.
“I’ll put our roster up against anybody.”
