The Houston Rockets are trying to land PG Russell Westbrook in a 3 team deal, per ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.
Russell Westbrook supplied the Thunder with some teams he’d be interested in playing with, and Miami was at the top of his list.
Houston still is somehow trying to get into a trade where they can get their hands on him for very little in return.
Per Brian Windhorst on SportsCenter this afternoon, Rockets FO is trying to work their way into a three-team deal to acquire Russell Westbrook from the Thunder.
My best guess – if there’s anything to this rumor: Magic or Wolves are the 3rd team. pic.twitter.com/phxCb8H4uR

Windhorst didn’t seem optimistic about the Rockets’ chances, noting that it would have to be a three-team dea,l and that those sort of trades are extremely hard to pull off.
And I don’t see a Harden Westbrook reunion anytime soon.
That being said, it’s the NBA, you really never know what’s going to happen until it does.
