Houston Astros pitching prospect Corbin Martin raised some eyebrows this week while working out with Dynamic Sports Training. The right-hander was clocked at over 111 MPH while doing a drill to measure his arm strength.
That’s some serious arm strength.
The former Texas A&M pitcher’s 111.6 MPH set a new mark at the sports training facility. A mark that probably won’t be broken for a while.
Hopefully Martin is working on keeping his arm healthy, not just focusing on how many miles per hour he can get out of it.
Otherwise he’ll just be another name on the growing list of Tommy John recipients.
