Blues center Brayden Schenn earned himself a trip to the penalty box after a vicious hit to Bruins center David Krejci’s head. You don’t want to take too many shots like this during your career.
Krejci went down, but was not out and seemed to be just fine as he sat on the bench after the hit. Since the NHL still doesn’t believe in concussions, he wasn’t evaluated for one.
There really wasn’t a need for an evaluation, because Schenn did take responsibility for the hit and said, “my bad” as he made his way to the penalty box.
