Duke Blue Devils star Zion Williamson probably didn’t expect the New Orleans Pelicans to wind up with the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft.

No one did.  

Apparently Zion was keen on playing for the Knicks, so one would expect complete and utter disappointment on the face of college basketball’s biggest star.  

But Zion isn’t your normal impending rookie, he’s pretty smart. 

So when the dust settled and the Pelicans held the No. 1 overall pick, how did Williamson react?

Of course someone was filming his face.

Williamson is definitely smiling and laughing in the video. 

Was that just the opposite reaction he really wanted to express?

If so, Zion is already a veteran when it comes to PR.
