‘Now that should be the beginning and the end of the story but I suspect our friend Ben Simmons … he is an executive producer of a second documentary made about the indigenous footballer Adam Goodes called The Australian Dream.
‘In fact Ben Simmons was a financier of that film and paid for that film to be made and intends to take it to America and show it to American audiences.’
‘I wonder if this incident at the door of Crown has anything to do with a message that Ben Simmons would like to get out in America about how Australians treat people of colour,’ Price continued.
‘What better way to get your documentary noticed in America, than to post to your 1.47 million (actually 4.3 million) Instagram followers that you’ve had a racial incident take place in Australia where the film is made.’
‘And he was wearing camouflage pants which are not permitted in the casino, he was asked for ID and he says that he was racially profiled.’
