The New England Patriots kickoff their off-season workouts on Monday. According to Adam Schefter, tight end Rob Gronkowski is not expected to be in attendance.
Schefter reports that Gronk is still undecided on playing in 2018. He is still communicating with the Patriots, which could be a good sign that he’ll eventually return.
Like Patriots’ QB Tom Brady, TE Rob Gronkowski will not attend the start of New England’s off-season program Monday, per source.
Gronkowski still is considering whether to play the upcoming 2018 season, and has had “good communication” with the Patriots, per source.

At this point, Gronk could be using the threat of retirement to get out of all the off-season workouts. He still has time to make up his mind, although every day that passes has to be worrisome if you’re a Patriots fan.
Karen notes Gronkowski and the Patriots have discussed his contract. Gronk currently is set to pull in just $8.9M in cash this season. He earned $10.2M in 2017. https://t.co/WH0q5J8tvk
