Rob Gronkowski was the center of trade talks during the off-season. To the point that he was rumored to be hours away from being dealt. The Patriots tight end was the one who reportedly ended those talks by threatening to retire.

The Patriots had an unusually distracting off-season that included reports that Tom Brady was the one who threatened the Patriots with retirement if Gronk was dealt. Not to mention the ongoing tension of Brady’s personal trainer.
In the end New England didn’t move Brady’s favorite target. Brady’s trainer is traveling with the team again and they will likely destroy the AFC and end up back where they always seem to be, the Super Bowl.
If they can’t stop themselves, who can stop the Patriots? Sure there are worthy opponents, but they always manage to come out on top. I’m not betting against them.
