Greg Schiano is heading back to Rutgers. He has reportedly agreed to a deal in principle to become the next coach at Rutgers. The two sides have been negotiating a deal for most of November.
Schiano’s contract demands were reportedly preventing a deal from being done sooner. Talks heated up on Saturday and a deal was finally agreed to. The next step is to get the approval of a special Board of Governors.
Schiano most recently was the defensive coordinator for the Patriots before walking away to wait for the Rutgers job to open up.
