The New Jersey Devils and their fans are very happy they made the playoffs for the first time in six seasons. Where will there fans watch the games, well they’ll have to tune in to the Golf Channel for one of their playoff games.
Looks like someone decided it was a good idea to put a hockey game on the Golf Network, which is pretty insulting to hockey fans.
Nothing says "Stanley Cup Playoffs" like the Golf Channel. pic.twitter.com/wDPwsMZEKx

Naturally fans went hard on Twitter, and NBC is the rights holder for the NHL playoffs, so they can broadcast the games on any channel they choose. Bad choice.
Nothing says lack of Stanley Cup Playoffs like golf.

That sounds lovely tbh, playoff hockey with golf commercials

Talk about disrespecting NHL fans, and I’m sure the die hard golf channel viewers won’t be happy when they turn on the tube and see a hockey game. Too funny.
