The Cowboys waived backup quarterback Cooper Rush after signing Andy Dalton to backup Dak Prescott. The Giants and former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett claimed Rush on Tuesday afternoon.
Garrett is now the offensive coordinator in New York and is bringing in Rush because of his familiarity with his offense. He joins starting quarterback Daniel Jones and veteran backup Colt McCoy.
