Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo took home the NBA’s highest award on Monday night. He followed it up with an emotional speech and let everyone know just how much his family means to him.
The only other player to receive any first place votes was Rockets guard James Harden. The Greek Freak was easily the winner despite falling short in the playoffs.
It sounds like Giannis was happy to win the award, but would have been happier with a ring. That’s exactly the type of superstar you want to build your team around.
The Bucks are going to be hard to deal with over the next few years in the East.
