Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton smashed a home run on Thursday night off of Rangers starter Ariel Jurado. The laser was the hardest hit home run ever tracked by StatCast.
Stanton’s rocket was recorded at 121.7 MPH. That’s some exit velocity, if you’re into that kind of thing.

Good thing we have StatCast to tell us exactly how hard Giancarlo hit the ball. I don’t know if we would have been able to tell by the crack of the bat and the ball turning into a rocket that the ball was crushed.
