Yankees outfielder/DH Giancarlo Stanton is back on the IL. His injury filled 2019 season continues.
Stanton returned on June 18th after missing all of April and May with multiple injuries. He has just one home run and seven RBIs in 31 at-bats this season.
It was revealed on Wednesday that he has a strained PCL after hurting he knee on Tuesday night sliding into third base.
Following today’s game, the Yankees placed OF Giancarlo Stanton on the 10-day IL with a right knee sprain and recalled OF Mike Tauchman from @swbrailriders.

Stanton could miss more than the 10 days depending on how severe the PCL strain is. At this point the Yankees might want to consider wrapping him in bubble wrap from head to toe. Otherwise he may never play more than a handful of games this season.
