Giancarlo Stanton returned from the IL on Tuesday night after battling several issues over the past two months. He was inserted into the middle of the lineup and started in rightfield.
It didn’t take long for Stanton to get tested in the field. It’s safe to say reaching in the seats to make a catch on a foul ball means he passed the test.

Stanton didn’t have the same luck at the plate. He went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts and was booed by Yankees fans after the second one.
Welcome back, Giancarlo!
