Via Saturday Down South:
Georgia freshman defensive end Bill Norton (Memphis, Tennessee) was arrested on three charges early Sunday morning: driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane/improper driving on road and possessing any alcoholic beverage under 21, per the Clarke County Jail log.
All three charges are misdemeanors. He was arrested by the University of Georgia police and booked into the Clarke County Jail at 4:30 a.m., records indicate. He was released after posting bonds of $3,000.
Hopefully the kid learns from his mistake and makes the necessary changes to not completely ruin his chances in Georgia. It’s a very slippery slope.
