You’re playing with fire when you take a 3-2 pitch with umpire Angel Hernandez behind the plate. Astros star George Springer did just that on Tuesday night against the Twins and he was rung up on a low pitch that should have been ball four.
Springer had some thoughts on the terrible call, but waited until he was in the dugout to say what he really wanted to say to Angel. On the field, Springer pointed out that he had just called a similar pitch a ball.

Angel is the worst of the worst. How he still has a job as an umpire at the highest level is mind blowing. What does he have to do to get fired?
