The 49ers finished the season with a 4-12 record after taking another loss in Los Angeles on Sunday. But it wasn’t all bad for San Francisco this season. Tight end George Kittle set the single season receiving yards by a tight end record
Kittle finished the season with 1,377 yards and set the record on an impressive 43-yard touchdown. He broke Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s record of 1,336 yards, that he set earlier in the day.
Break the record, might as well score too. Congrats @gkittle46 👏#GoNiners pic.twitter.com/kD4H2SQj1Y

Setting records on a losing team is really hard to do, especially when you’re catching passes from multiple quarterbacks. Kittle didn’t have the luxury of playing with a Tom Brady or a Patrick Mahomes like the other two on the top of this list.
