Gayle King took a ton of heat for asking Kobe Bryant’s friend and WNBA player Lisa Leslie about his sexual assault charge during an interview about his legacy. “CBS This Morning” posted a clip of the exchange and the internet, including celebrities and friends of Kobe had a field day with it.
After the backlash King took to social media to address the situation. According to King, her employer is to blame for using a clip out of context.
