Phillies manager Gabe Kapler is only five games into his managerial career and he’s already getting booed by the home crowd. The fans in Philly booed Kapler as he was announced before Thursday’s home opener.
Kapler has already cost his team a couple of games with questionable decision making. It’s either going to be a very long season for him or a very short one.
There’s almost a zero percent chance Kapler manages to get the Phillies into the postseason. The mistakes he’s making aren’t run of the mill first time manager mistakes.
The mistakes Kapler is making are due to complete incompetence. That’s a huge problem for Philadelphia.
