The FSU fan responsible for a racist social media post showing Willie Taggart getting lynched has been fired from his job at Hilton Grand Vacations, the company has said in a statement today.

The racist post was made in a Florida State fan group on Facebook on Saturday, shortly after the Seminoles lost to rival Florida 41-14 to finish a 5-7 season.
The Facebook post shows an image of Taggart’s head copied on a hanging body in a black-and-white lynching photo. Taggart is the first black head football coach in FSU history.
The image appeared on the account of a fan named Tom Shand, who backed up his sentiment in a subsequent online comment: “I’m dead (expletive) serious. This is how far I’m willing to go to get rid of this clown!!!”
Fans saved screenshots of the post, which quickly spread across social media.

There is a line, and this fool crossed it.
Being a fan doesn’t give you license to be a racist.
