Frank Vogel is walking into a situation where he gets to coach the Los Angeles Lakers while they have both LeBron James and Anthony Davis on their roster.
That’s a pretty good start.
The bad news is he wasn’t the Lakers first choice. Certainly not LeBron’s pick.

Vogel was asked in an interview with Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated about this situation, James, and how the Lakers might actually play next season.
Vogel sounds thrilled for the opportunity, and is excited about his relationship with LeBron.
For now at least.
