A source tells the Seattle Times is that Paxton Lynch has been waived. So Geno Smith the backup QB. No surprise there. Seahawks may try to keep Lynch on the practice squad.

Lynch played in five games for the Broncos over the course of the 2016 and 2017 seasons, completing 61.7 percent of his passes for 792 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions.
He had his chance, maybe he’ll get another one down the road. . .
