During “The Last Dance” documentary it was revealed that Michael Jordan’s “flu game” was actually a case of food poisoning after he ate some bad pizza.
That led to former NFL receiver Andrew Hawkins sharing his own “flu game” story. Back in 2012, when he was with the Bengals, he got sick the the day before a playoff game.
It sounds like Hawkins actually had the flu when he played with a 102 degree fever. It didn’t go well. Not only did the Bengals lose, he had a terrible game.
