Former Chicago Bears cornerback, Charles Tillman, has reportedly moved on to a different line of work since his NFL retirement, as it’s recently been reported that he’s now officially working as an FBI agent.

Tillman graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s training academy in 2018, and according to the Chicago Tribune, he’s now on a two-year probationary period until 2020 per FBI protocol.

During that probationary period, Tillman will experience a variety of situations to prepare him for future placement.

Tillman, nicknamed Peanut, earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette prior to becoming a 2x Pro Bowl corner for the Bears, where he was also named the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2013.

Tillman retired at the end of the 2015-16 season, with little time to spare as prospective FBI candidates must be younger than 37 at the time of appointment.

Sure enough, however, Tillman completed his training in time, while recently celebrating his 38th birthday over the weekend.

You just know it’s only a matter of time before he’s punching out crime.
