Former NFL star Branden Albert is suing Michelle Pooch after he invested $230,000 into her new chain of nail salons Get Nailed in Miami. Court docs obtained by DailyMail.com show Albert is demanding his money back claiming the reality star used his funds for her salary and a chauffeured car.
The athlete says he expected the investment to buy him 60 percent and would entitle him to profits and be consulted on major business decisions. After the opening of one salon in downtown Miami, he learned he is not named on incorporation papers, and his money only paid for just one future location.
Albert’s attorney Michael Schelsinger said: ‘The bottom line is these people [Pooch and Cuza] took advantage of my client’s naivete’ Pooch is best known for being on Love and Hip Hop Miami, so there’s that. Now she’s a DJ. Yep.
