Former MLB player Angel Pagan was rescued after his boat capsized off the coast of Puerto Rico. Also rescued were former minor league reliever Orlando Roman and a 16-year-old boy.
According to Telemundo, the group was boating in the area about 30 miles from San Juan when bad weather hit.
Roman was treated for a head injury while Pagan and the boy were not injured. The 37-year-old former World Series champ hasn’t played since 2016.
It sounds like the men were all lucky to have made it out without suffering any serious injuries. This is why you leave the boating to the professionals.
