Former Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly having sex with a minor. The details of the investigation that led up to his arrest are now starting to come out.
Smith, according to officials, had two sexual encounters with an underage girl last summer. Officials are very confident in their case against him and say they have DNA and audio recordings to prove his guilt.
Officials revealed details of the two sexual encounters in court documents. In the documents Smith is accused of having sex with the victim in August and September last year. Following the first encounter he paid her $100 for her troubles.
