On Sunday the Bears destroyed the Bills 41-9. Part of the reason that Buffalo took such a beating was the play at the quarterback position.
With rookie QB Josh Allen still out with injury and veteran Derek Anderson recovering from a concussion, Nathan Peterman was back under center.
Peterman did Peterman things. He threw for just 189-yards and was picked off three times, one of those being a pick six.
If you’re wondering how Peterman is still getting a chance to play in the NFL you’re not alone. Former Bills first round pick, EJ Manuel, is wondering the same thing.
The 28-year-old QB, who was released by the Raiders in September, took to social media to try and figure out how Peterman still had a job in the NFL and he didn’t.

That is a fair question. Clearly Manuel didn’t live up to his first round draft status, but he could probably still serve as a backup in the league, especially a league that employs Nathan Peterman.
