Flyers mascot Gritty was recently cleared of assault charges. He had been accused of punching a kid at a Flyers event in November after the kid playfully patted the mascot on the head.
Gritty did what any mascot in their right mind would do after he was cleared of the assault charges. He addressed the incident on Conan O’Brien.

When things got out of hand he ended up assaulting a stage manager and a random kid seeking an autograph.
