Florida running back Lamical Perine could face battery charges after an incident with a tow truck driver. According to reports, Perine grabbed and pulled a tow truck driver’s arm when the driver tried to tow his mother’s car.
Via Gainesville.com:
Perine, 21, was accused May 7 in a sworn complaint of arguing with a tow truck driver while he tried to hook onto the car to tow it. The car did not have a required decal.
Perine grabbed the tow truck driver’s arm and pulled him away from the car in an attempt to thwart his towing efforts, according to the complaint.
State Attorney Bill Cervone said Perine was not arrested but could be issued a notice to appear in a court, pending prosecutors’ review.
It’s good to see the State Attorney has nothing else to concern himself with than a college athlete pulling the arm of a tow truck driver. The world is a better place with this guy keeping all of the tow truck drivers in the world safe.
