During Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, Raptors guard Kyle Lowry was shoved by a fan after ending up in the front row going after a ball.
According to Ina Fried of Axios, the fan who shoved Lowry is Mark Stevens, a member of the Warriors ownership group:
The person who pushed Toronto Raptors player Kyle Lowry at last night’s NBA Finals game was not just any fan, but venture capitalist — and part Warriors owner — Mark Stevens, multiple sources confirmed to Axios.
Stevens became a member of the Warriors ownership group back in 2013. This incident isn’t going to bode well for his future with the team.
Normal fans can’t put their hands on players, you have to believe the NBA doesn’t want their owners or members of ownership groups doing it either.
