Falcons receiver Julio Jones wants a new contract before the season starts. The 30-year-old, who has two years left on his current deal, is confident that a new deal will eventually get done.
Jones says he isn’t too worried about it, and if a new deal doesn’t get done before training camp starts, he won’t be holding out. Team owner Arthur Blank assured the team’s top target that a deal will get done.
#Falcons WR Juilio Jones told @TMZ that there's no chance he'll hold out Training Camp after talking to owner Arthur Blank.
"[Blank's] word is that it's going to get done, there's no stress on my end. I'm not thinking about it."
