The health of Todd Gurley’s knee has been questioned for the last couple of years. It’s likely the reason the Rams cut him at such a young age.
Despite the questions about his health, the Falcons quickly signed Gurley following his release. It wasn’t because they knew something the rest of the teams didn’t.
It sounds like Atlanta is taking a gamble that Gurley will be healthy enough to contribute next season. Offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter said as much.
According to Koetter, the Falcons have no idea how healthy Gurley is.
