The Vikings announced on Tuesday evening that Pro Bowl defensive end Everson Griffen will return to the team on Wednesday. 

Griffen missed the last five games dealing with some off the field issues after threatening to shoot someone and attempting to break into a home.

That’s good news for Griffrn and the first place Vikings as they try to build upon their lead in the tight NFC North.  They will need a focused and healthy Griffen if they want to make a run at the postseason.
