The Houston Astros had two on and nobody out with Evan Gattis at the plate.  It looked like they were gearing up for a big inning.

Then Gattis hit into the weirdest triple play you’ll ever see.  He hit a check swing groundball to the third baseman, who stepped on third and then threw the runner out at second.

Gattis thought the double play ended the inning and he started to run off the field.  The Mariners noticed his mistake and tagged him out in the middle of the infield grass.

What was the first base coach doing?  If you’re not screaming at Gattis to get back on the bag then why are you out there?
