ESPN’s Bob Ley opened up “Outside the Lines” by blasting Ohio State over the three game suspension it handed down to head coach Urban Meyer. The suspension took the Board of Trustees and school President 12 hours to decide.
Many outside of Columbus are not happy with that punishment, which is equivalent to a slap on the wrist. You can count Ley among that group. He opened the show by calling the suspension, “feckless and beyond tone-deaf.”
I'm losing count in the ways the Ohio State response is both feckless and beyond tone-deaf… pic.twitter.com/fFu92xgb9m

It’s hard to argue with that. Especially when you compare Meyer’s three game suspension with the nine UNC football players who received a four game suspension for selling shoes. Let’s hope the Buckeyes are overwhelmed by this scandal and lose every game.
