Tony Romo’s run as the highest paid sports broadcaster in TV history could be short-lived.  ESPN is reportedly trying to get Peyton Manning to join the “Monday Night Football” booth for a deal that would top Romo’s.

According to Front Office Sports, ESPN is preparing to offer Manning a deal between $18 and $20 million a year.  The network has reportedly been meeting with the retired quarterback about the deal this week.
