Panthers safety Eric Reid delivered a brutal late hit to the helmet of Patriots tight end Benjamin Watson. He was flagged for the dirty hit and Watson was able to get up and walk off the field, but did so without his helmet.
As you can see the dangerous hit appears to have momentarily caused Watson’s body to involuntarily stiffen up. Not a great look for Reid, who becoming known for questionable hits.
