Veteran wide receiver Eric Decker, who had signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots on Aug. 3rd, announced his retirement on Instagram Sunday afternoon.

Then his wife gave her thoughts on her husband’s retirement. 

And by the looks of Decker’s night, he retired in style, attending a Kenny Chesney concert with former Patriots defensive end Rob Ninkovich at Gillette Stadium. 

Looks like retired guys stick together. At least Decker got to visit the place where he was potentially going to suit up every Sunday one last time. Decker’s wife was nowhere to be seen, but Ninkovich had his wife Paige with him. What a time to be retired.
