Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus took a bat to the back of the head during a loss to the Angels on Wednesday night. The good news was the bat was his own and because of it he didn’t have to run out a ground ball.
The game ended 3-2 in favor of the Angels and had absolutely no impact on the postseason.
The off-season can’t get here fast enough if you play on either of these two teams. Elvis was probably hoping to make it without a head injury.
