Former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Eli Rogers is hoping to work his way back into the NFL after being cut prior to the 2019 season. He’s currently playing for the DC Defenders in the XFL.
On Saturday Rogers had 5 catches for 49 yards during the Defenders 27-0 win over the New York Guardians. A solid game considering his missed his own mother’s funeral to play in the game.
