No kidding, the same Eli Manning who is the starting quarterback of the New York Giants?
According to head coach Pat Shurmur, Manning has had “no response” to the fact that his team drafted a Duke quarterback Daniel Jones in the first-round.

It’s not all that surprising given Eli’s general demeanor, but it could also mean he’s not at all worried about Jones taking his job anytime soon. Had New York taken Dwayne Haskins, Eli might have just retired before the end of the draft.
Haskins is a much better quarterback than Jones and is definitely much more prepared to play in the NFL, having played against better competition at Ohio State.
Give Eli a few terrible starts before he starts feeling the pressure of a first-round quarterback waiting to take his place on the depth chart.
